Acting Mayor of Malang Appreciates CSR of Hermina Hospital

Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM gave his appreciation and expressed his gratitude for the handover of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by Hermina Tangkubanprahu Hospital, Malang City. The CSR in the form of construction of Bathing, Washing and Toilet (MCK) facilities in the Kayutangan Heritage area and nutritious food to reduce stunting rates was symbolically handed over in the yard of the Klojen District Office, Saturday (20/4/2024).

Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM symbolically handed over CSR in the form of construction of Bathing, Washing and Toilet (MCK) facilities in the Kayutangan Heritage area.

Acting Mayor of Malang Wahyu Hidayat said that this program is a form of concern from the hospital for the residents and the city of Malang. According to him, this is in line with the theme of the 110th anniversary of Malang City, namely 'Harmonious for a Classy Malang City'.

"With the presence of this MCK, it will further improve environmental sanitation, meet the needs of residents and tourists who come to Kampung Kayutangan Heritage. At the same time, it will provide comfort," added the number one man in the Malang city government.

Likewise, with the provision of nutritious food assistance, it will certainly greatly help the program to prevent and overcome stunting. "If children are free from stunting, it will produce a productive and competitive generation," he said.

Meanwhile, Director of Hermina Tangkubanprahu Hospital, dr. Wenny Retno Sarie Lestari, MMRS, FISQua said that this program was the result of coordination between her party and the Klojen Sub-district Head. "We also provide basic food assistance to underprivileged residents and health education," she explained.

"According to the direction and instructions from the Acting Mayor of Malang, hopefully the next CSR can be given to other places or other sub-districts. In this context, we will always support the development program of Malang City, especially those related to public health," concluded the woman in the hijab. (say/yon)
