Bringing Services Closer, Dispendukcapil Jembol Adminduk in Malls

Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government (Pemkot) through the Population and Civil Registration Service (Dispendukcapil) presents population administration services through the Indonesian Population Awareness Movement (GISA) event at the Olympic Garden Mall (MOG), Sunday (21/3/2024).

The activity, which was held specially to commemorate the 110th Anniversary of Malang City and Kartini Day, carried the theme 'Orderly Population Administration in Harmony with Equality of Excellent Service, for a Classy Malang City'.

Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM when reviewing the location directly said that the outreach service (jembol) is very optimal and effective. "This service runs from 10.00 am to 08.00 pm. Some of the people I met, on average they came here to take care of population documents because it happened to be Sunday," explained Wahyu.

Various administrative services provided include e-KTP recording, IKD/Digital KTP registration, Civil Registration Certificate Verification, one-day service which includes Family Card (KK), KIA, lost/damaged KTP and birth certificates.

"This is very optimal, just two hours after it was opened there were already 200 people. This is also a consideration for us, if we want to hold it again on Sunday in a certain place, maybe not necessarily in a mall, maybe it would be even better. Although not every Sunday, but on certain weeks. Because when I asked the residents who used this service, they said it was because it happened to be Sunday or a holiday," explained Wahyu.

On the other hand, Wahyu appreciates and is also grateful for the increasing public awareness regarding population administration such as KTP, KK and others. The public is aware that the current population documents are one of the requirements to take care of other requirements.

"Adminduk services like this are very effective, there are long queues. Later we will try, not only in malls, but also other locations such as MCC, town squares, previously also in markets. We also go to schools. Incidentally, we also open on Sundays on Car Free Day, also at Velodrome," he added.

One of the residents who utilized this adminduk service, Wardani from Polehan Village, said that this kind of service really made things easier and helped her. "I am currently taking care of my child's ID card. I am very grateful that this service is available on Sundays, coincidentally my child is on school holidays. Hopefully, in the future, services like this can be held more often, so that they can help the community even more," she concluded. (yul/yon)
