Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Until now, the Acting Mayor of Malang, Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM admitted that he is still working on and will recruit the Selection Committee (Pansel) for the Board of Directors of Perumda Air Minum Tugu Tirta, Malang City. The number one man in the ranks of the Malang City Government (Pemkot) admitted that he has pocketed five names of competent candidates for the Pansel from various elements, such as academics and professionals to select candidates for the president director of one of the Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD) of Malang City.
Wahyu said that of the five names of the selection committee candidates, one of them is a person who is considered to have succeeded in leading the Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) in his area. "These selection committees come from various regions in Indonesia who indeed have above average expertise," explained Wahyu after reviewing the implementation of population administration services at Malang Olympic Garden (MOG), Sunday (21/4/2024).
According to him, from the five names, three people will be selected, but it is possible that all five will become the selection committee, and in the near future the personnel will be called to conduct further communication. "We want the person who becomes the President Director of Perumda Tugu Tirta to be the best choice and can bring significant progress," continued Wahyu.
He further said that his party would not rush in determining and recruiting candidates for the President Director of Perumda Tugu Tirta, so that what is targeted to choose a candidate for leader who truly has the ability, expertise and is in accordance with shared expectations is achieved. "Anyone can apply to register, but later it will be up to them," he said firmly.
When asked who the names of those who will be on the selection committee are, Wahyu still did not mention them so that the selection process will run fairly and not be exploited by certain parties. "What is certain is that we will choose people who are indeed experts in their respective fields," concluded Wahyu. (say/yon)
