Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Administrator Leadership Training (PKA) Batch II of the East Java Province Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM) at the Malang City Government was held at the Aria Gajayana Hotel, Malang City, Monday (22/4/2024). The activity, which was attended by 32 participants, was opened by the Acting Mayor of Malang, Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM.
In his speech, Acting Mayor of Malang Wahyu Hidayat revealed that along with the development of the times, the demands and expectations of the community to get the best service from the state apparatus will also continue to increase. Therefore, the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) as public servants must continue to improve their competence.
"It is time for ASN to be able to prove their competence in relation to improving the overall performance of the organization," he stressed.
The number one person in the Malang City Government hopes that the participants of this training will be able to change the old paradigm and adapt to existing developments. "Of course I appreciate what the Malang City BKPSDM and the East Java Province BPSDM have done. I hope that many positive things will be obtained, especially changing the old paradigm and must be relevant to the development of the times. Of course, the competencies that are owned must be proven, implemented to support the goals of the organization," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Malang City Human Resources and Civil Service Agency (BKPSDM) Drs. Totok Kasianto said that this activity was in order to accelerate the implementation of ASN transformation with high and quality work results that can provide the best service to the community, harmonious and modern.
"Improving competence as structural officials within the Malang City Government continues to be carried out to be able to answer the needs of the times and to achieve strategic goals of national development and improve better public services," explained Totok.
This PKA will be implemented from March 9, 2024 to June 11, 2024 with several stages. Stage one is independent learning at each workplace from March 9 to March 21, 2024, face-to-face classical at the Aria Gajayana Hotel from April 22, 2024 to April 30, 2024, and stage three is from May 9, 2024 to June 11, 2024.
