Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – The PKK Movement Team (TP) of Malang City held the Peak Commemoration of the 52nd PKK Unity Movement Day (HKG) at the Malang Creative Center (MCC), Monday (29/4/2024). Carrying the theme "Moving Together with PKK to Realize Prosperous Families Towards Advanced Indonesia", HKG is a momentum to strengthen the role of PKK as a government working partner who always tries to provide power for its participation in development through family empowerment.
Acting Chairperson of TP PKK Malang City Dra. Hj. Hanik Andriani Wahyu Hidayat on this occasion invited all PKK cadres to work together to make government programs a success by implementing various programs through 10 main PKK programs. "PKK is a working partner of the Malang City Government so we align it with the theme of the Malang City Anniversary which is expected to increase achievements. We all work together towards Advanced Indonesia," she explained.
Hanik hopes that TP PKK can be a motor to mobilize cadres and establish synergy with stakeholders. Moving together means the simultaneity of PKK cadre movements working together with various stakeholders to realize the welfare of Indonesian families.
Furthermore, PKK is also encouraged to optimize the potential of community movements to synergize with the government in accelerating national and regional development. Hanik also invited all cadres to support the implementation of the PKK movement master plan for 2021-2024.
"I have great hopes that we can answer the challenges and realize the achievements of the substance of the tasks and functions of the TP PKK to achieve the vision of the PKK movement in 2021-2024, namely the realization of healthy, intelligent, empowered, faithful, and pious families towards Advanced Indonesia 2024," he said.
Meanwhile, Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM said that TP PKK must bring new spirit and energy to every step in adjusting and aligning program activities with the policies of the City Government (Pemkot). Moreover, currently, the City Government is strengthening its commitment to meet the strategic issue targets from the center such as reducing extreme poverty and stunting.
"The success of this achievement cannot be separated from the role of PKK as a working partner in empowering women. I hope that TP PKK Malang City can strengthen the role of cadres starting from the RT level and cross-sector cooperation to overcome various strategic issues that exist," said Wahyu.
Wahyu assessed that the Malang City PKK TP has shown good collaboration and synergy to support the program activities in the Malang City Government. "It is also proven that there is stunting, there is also the involvement of PKK mothers. Then there are also awards for those who help the OPD program activities in Malang City. Such as urban farming and tilapia cultivation. This is because there are 10 main PKK programs that are in line with the regional apparatus program. There is synergy carried out by the PKK TP in collaboration with the Malang City Government, especially by empowering PKK mothers at the city, sub-district, and village levels," he explained.
On that occasion, TP PKK Malang City gave various awards. Among them were awards for PKK cadres who have devoted themselves for dozens or even tens of years in PKK activities. Awards were also given to 10 innovators/motivators who achieved in various fields such as smart farming, environmental utilization, early childhood education, batik crafts, and so on.
The Acting Mayor of Malang also presented awards to the best TP PKK sub-district in implementing 10 PKK programs. The peak of the HKG commemoration was also enlivened by the performance of movements and songs from TK Al Ya'lu Malang City and thematic dances on disabilities from the Linksos Indonesia disabled community. In addition, there was also a fashion show by students of SMK Negeri 3 Malang and a collaborative dance performance by the TP PKK administrators at the city, sub-district, and sub-district levels.
