Lowokwaru (malangkota.go.id) – Increasing collaboration between the umara and the ulama, Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM attended the halalbihalal and gathering of the An-Nahdliyah Malang Ahlussunah Wal Jama'ah Taklim Wad Da'wah Assembly at the Shirothol Mustaqim Grand Mosque, Sunday (28/4/2024).
In the event attended by the Head of Fatwa of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) of East Java KH. Makruf Fauzi, M.Ag, the Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM expressed his pleasure in being able to meet. "We came with the ranks of regional apparatus heads, including Expert Staff, Head of Diskopindag, Head of the Communication and Information Service, Head of Satpol PP, and Head of Kesra," explained Wahyu.
With halalbihalal like this, it is hoped that the relationship between religious scholars and the Malang City Government will be more harmonious. "For mistakes, whether intentional or unintentional, both while on duty carrying out official duties, or as an individual in carrying out daily activities, once again I apologize physically and mentally," said Wahyu.
According to him, the Eid al-Fitr moment is a golden opportunity to forgive each other, to establish friendship and strengthen Islamic brotherhood. For that reason, through this activity, the Acting Mayor of Malang invites to improve relations between fellow human beings through halalbihalal. "Let us together cleanse ourselves sincerely and sincerely apologize to each other for the mistakes and errors that have been made so far," he continued.
Majelis taklim, Wahyu said, is also an institution/organization that is an extension of the government that has educational, coaching, and social functions. Through this Majelis Taklim, the community can feel that the existence of this institution is a means to carry out spiritual moral coaching, increase Islamic knowledge in order to improve the quality of faith and piety towards Allah SWT.
