Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) held a Plenary Meeting to Deliver the Opinions of the Faction on the 2023 Malang Mayor's Accountability Report (LKPj) in the Plenary Meeting Room of the Malang City DPRD, Tuesday (30/4/2024). On this occasion, the Acting Mayor of Malang, Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM was present accompanied by the Regional Secretary of Malang City Erik Setyo Santoso, ST, MT and regional officials.
Malang City DPRD Chairperson I Made Riandiana Kartika said that after this plenary meeting, it will be continued with other stages until it becomes the final view of the faction.
"We have agreed on the LKPj, more or less sufficient. This means going through various stages, starting from the mayor's submission regarding the LKPj report on March 30, 2023, then we immediately discussed it in a coordination meeting with council members involving a team of experts," he explained.
Made blamed the faction's opinion as not being the final opinion of the faction to accept or agree to, but the faction's opinion which had to be concluded again through the budget committee because the Council did not form a special committee, but the budget agency was asked to discuss it.
"Because if we form a special committee, the maximum is only 15 people, while the budget committee is allowed to have 23 people," he explained further.
Made believes that the Banggar members are the best representatives from all factions, which is why the Malang City DPRD decided that Banggar would be the one to discuss it.
"We decided after this there will be an internal meeting to prepare the final recommendations that we will read later at the final Plenary Meeting on May 6. We have seen many notes, what is clear is that the faction's opinion is inseparable from the Malang City DPRD's recommendations," he explained.
Meanwhile, Acting Mayor of Malang Wahyu Hidayat expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the input from all factions on the 2023 LKPj. These various inputs will be part of the evaluation for the Malang City Government.
"Alhamdulillah, there are a lot of inputs today. We will follow up on this later, and of course this is part of the evaluation of the Malang City Government regarding the accountability of the regional head in 2023, because I started in September 2023," explained Wahyu. (cah/yon)
