Lowokwaru (malangkota.go.id) – In a series of Tasyakuran Sekuat Jati (Seribu Kupat Jatimulyo) activities in Jatimulyo Village, Saturday (4/5/2024), Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM had the opportunity to review the Tunas Bangsa Early Childhood Education (PAUD) Post which is located not far from the RW 5 Hall, Jatimulyo Village.
From this direct review, it is known that PAUD Tunas Bangsa has a classroom measuring 3x4 meters with 20 students. This room is divided into two parts, one part functions as a place for learning and teaching, the other part functions as a storage warehouse for learning media.
This review was conducted after Acting Mayor of Malang Wahyu Hidayat received a report from the community that PAUD Tunas Bangsa was over capacity with narrow classrooms. "PAUD Tunas Bangsa has been built since 2011 and is intended for children in the area. From the residents' proposal, this PAUD is planned to be expanded to the east," explained Wahyu.
The request to develop the building area is said to be actionable, because the land proposed for development is a land asset owned by the Malang City Government. "The land is not too large. After checking, it turns out that it can still pass next to the Balai RW 5 sports building, so it can still be developed for additional rooms to be made into classes or others," he explained.
With this development, it is hoped that PAUD Tunas Bangsa can carry out a more flexible and smooth learning process. As for the financing, the Acting Mayor of Malang instructed the Malang City Education and Culture Office to provide an allocation of funds.
"It has been submitted, later I will instruct to be examined related to the land assets. Then later how about the financing, the Head of the Education and Culture Office will allocate it later when it is finished," concluded Wahyu. (cah/yon)
