Message from the Acting Mayor of Malang for prospective students of KBIHU RSI Aisyiyah

Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM attended a joint prayer for the departure of the Hajj and Umrah Pilgrimage Guidance Group (KBIHU) of the Aisyiyah Malang Islamic Hospital (RSI) at the Al-Ikhlas Mosque, Jl. Raya Langsep, Malang City, Thursday (9/5/2024).

In his speech, the Acting Mayor of Malang advised the prospective hajj pilgrims to really prepare themselves, both physically and mentally and spiritually. "Earlier I read, information from the Ministry of Religion that the temperature there is hot, reaching 50° Celsius. I hope that you can follow the existing rules, follow the series of worship as well as possible, and hopefully later become a mabrur hajj," he said praying.

Wahyu emphasized that when performing the Hajj pilgrimage, maintaining health is very important, because with good physical condition, of course, the series of worship can also be done well. In addition, the number one person in the Malang City Government also advised to maintain the good name of Malang City by following the rules and series properly.

Wahyu also hopes that the accompanying staff can carry out their duties optimally when accompanying the prospective hajj pilgrims of KBIHU RSI Aisyiyah Malang City, which consists of 131 female and 106 male hajj pilgrims.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Health Service (Dinkes) of Malang City, dr. Husnul Muarif said that his party had provided assistance to ensure the health condition of the prospective hajj pilgrims of Malang City was in good condition. "To overcome the hot weather in Saudi Arabia, whether thirsty or not, every day the pilgrims are required to consume at least two and a half liters of water," said Husnul.

According to him, by routinely drinking water, the pilgrims will not experience dehydration so that their bodies remain fit during the pilgrimage. Husnul did not forget to advise them to consume nutritious food and get enough rest.

Likewise, the Head of KBIHU RSI Aisyiyah Drs. Bahtiar Effendi said that his party had also provided training to all prospective hajj pilgrims from KBIHU RSI Aisyah, starting from pre-hajj manasik activities to in-depth study of hajj material.

"A total of five months, two months for pre-manasik as a preparation for strengthening physical Islamic worship and also inner faith. Then continued for two months of hajj manasik, starting from the obligatory pillars to the sunnah in carrying out the hajj. We also conduct halakah and deepen the material," said Bahtiar.

He revealed that the first wave of prospective hajj pilgrims from KBIHU RSI Aisyiyah Malang City will depart from Malang City on May 16, 2024 from Rampal Field. Then on May 17, 2024 from the Sukolilo hajj dormitory to Juanda Airport Surabaya for a flight to Medina. "On May 16, 2024, there will be a release of CJH from Rampal Field by the Acting Mayor of Malang to the Hajj Dormitory in Surabaya," concluded Bahtiar. (cah/yon)
