Lowokwaru (malangkota.go.id) – Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM attended the tausiah and halalbihalal event held by the Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership (PDM) of Malang City at the East Java Cultural Park (TKBJ) on Jalan Soekarno Hatta, Malang City, Sunday (12/5/2024). Carrying the theme 'Knitting National Dignity with Progressive Steps', this event received appreciation from the number one person in the Malang City Government.

According to him, religious activities like this are very good as an effort to continue to foster togetherness and harmony between religious communities. "There are many things that can be learned from religious studies like this. We can get a lot of new knowledge from the sermons of scholars and other religious figures," added Wahyu.
Not only halalbihalal, he said that at this event there was also an exhibition of UMKM products, so it would also have a positive impact on economic actors. "We hope that events like this can be held routinely and continuously, because there are so many positive benefits," explained the man from Malang City.
Through this activity, Wahyu said, it is also a moment to strengthen relations between community groups that may have had different choices or friction during the democratic party yesterday. Through this moment, the number one person in the Malang City Government invited all parties to immediately neutralize it.
Wahyu further said that Muhammadiyah's role so far has been very good in contributing to supporting all development programs initiated by the Malang City Government. Synergy and collaboration are well established, so that what is programmed, especially related to the community, always runs well.
The statement was agreed by the Chairman of the Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership (PDM) of Malang City, Abdul Haris. He added that different choices are common in a democratic party. "However, when the democratic party is over, then we should not continue to drag on in that condition. Let us establish and strengthen brotherhood again," he invited.say (say/yon)
