Wahyu Hidayat, MM became the Inspector of the 116th National Awakening Day (Harkitnas) Commemoration Ceremony at Malang City Hall, Monday (20/5/2024). In his message, Wahyu said that Harkitnas is a momentum to increase the spirit of unity, togetherness, nationalism, and awareness of the people of Malang City to rise and fight together to face various challenges in the era of globalization, so that they can take part in efforts to achieve the goal of realizing Indonesia Emas 2045.
In the commemoration of the 116th Harkitnas with the theme 'Rise for a Golden Indonesia', the Acting Mayor of Malang said that Harkitnas is also a moment to reminisce about past stories. Many things related to the revival are based on the stories and struggles that have been carried out by our predecessors. That is why in order to rise towards a Golden Indonesia in 2045, it is necessary to look back at the struggles of Boedi Oetomo and Kartini. "This revival is the basis for us to move together to realize a Golden Indonesia in 2045," he said loudly.
Wahyu mentioned many things that must be done to achieve Golden Indonesia 2045. "To get there, Indonesian human resources must be prepared, including how to optimize the progress of digital technology," he said.
The theme of Harkitnas is also in line with the theme of the 110th Anniversary of Malang City. Of course, Malang City will also take part in the effort to achieve Golden Indonesia 2045. "We can move forward in harmony so that 2045 becomes Golden Indonesia and Malang City becomes advanced and classy. Of course, this goes hand in hand," he said.
The National Awakening Ceremony was enlivened by a choir from the Malang City Education & Culture Office and the Raras Swara Abdi Praja music corps of the Malang City Government. In addition, the Grebeg Sabrang Dance was also performed by students of SMPK St. Maria I Malang. On this occasion, the Best Stunting Prevention Award in Malang City in 2023 was also presented to sub-districts, urban villages and health centers that were considered to have made high progress in reducing stunting rates in their respective areas.
