Breadfruit (malangkota.go.id) – Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM witnessed the 2024 Rawisari Volleyball Cup which was held at the Volleyball Court on Jl. Rawisari, Mulyorejo Village, Sukun District, Malang City, Saturday (25/5/2024).
Wahyu expressed his appreciation for the organization of the event, which this year is the third. According to him, this event is extraordinary and very interesting because it is carried out by local youth who are members of Karang Taruna.
"It is very extraordinary and very interesting, to see that this activity is carried out by Karang Tarun. This is certainly very positive for young people who are active in sports," he said.
In addition, ahead of the 2025 East Java Provincial Sports Week (Porprov Jatim), Wahyu sees the Rawisari Volleyball Cup as a very good event to see the potential of young volleyball athletes who can later represent the city of Malang.
Seeing the good enthusiasm from the participation of participants, the presence of spectators and others, Wahyu considered this event quite successful. "We hope that in 2025 the Rawisari Volleyball Cup will be even better and produce qualified athletes," he concluded. (iu/yon)
