Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – Following up on Government Regulation Number 71 of 2019 concerning the Implementation of Electronic Systems and Transactions and the work program of the Malang City Regional Finance and Asset Agency (BKAD) in optimizing regional budget services electronically, the Malang City Communication and Informatics Service (Diskominfo) held an Electronic Certificate Issuance Assistance activity for Regional Financial Management Officers (PPKD) within the Malang City Government at the Savana Hotel, Malang City, Monday (27/5/2024).
Regional Financial Management Officers from Regional Government Agencies, Sub-districts, and State Junior High Schools in Malang City received assistance starting from registering official emails to issuing electronic certificates.
Head of Statistics and Encryption Division of Malang City Communication and Information Office, JA Bayu Widjaya, S.Sos, M.Si revealed that this activity was divided into four sessions and was attended by 516 Regional Financial Management Officers consisting of Budget Users, Budget User Authorization, Commitment Making Officers, Financial Administration Officers, Technical Activity Implementation Officers, Expenditure Treasurers, Assistant Expenditure Treasurers, Revenue Treasurers, and Assistant Revenue Treasurers. "The purpose of this activity is to prepare for the acceleration of the digitalization of financial processes," he explained.
This electronic signature, he said, is actually a national program that has been implemented for several years. According to him, it has many benefits, in addition to security, it also reduces paper use. "It can be said that in addition to our routine activities from the Statistics and Cryptography Sector, this activity is to accommodate the activities of BKAD which wants to run digital finance," said Bayu.
This assistance is also a digitalization of public services which is a policy of the central government. The Malang City Government through the Communication and Information Service continues to provide assistance to make e-Government a success. (cah/yon)
