Likewise, the relationship between communication, information and transportation makes each other closer, as a result of the industrial revolution, the result of the development of science and technology (iptek).

This was conveyed by the Expert Staff for Economics and Finance of the Malang City Regional Secretariat, M. Sailendra when giving a speech at the halalbihalal event and technical guidance for the Diniyah Takmiliyah Communication Forum (FKDT) at the Malang City DPRD Building, Thursday (30/5/2024).

He added that the development of science and technology is very fast, it seems to the younger generation who tend to be easily influenced by new elements. Like it or not, if it is not addressed with wisdom and awareness of the fortification of the people, it will certainly display psychological and sociological clashes.

"In this regard, it is necessary to find an effective strategy in solving the problem. One of them is religious education as one of the best solutions to save the character of the next generation of this nation," he added.

Sailendra further said that Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah (MDT) as a non-formal Islamic religious educational institution also has a great responsibility in equipping the younger generation with a solid moral, spiritual, and digital literacy foundation.

Because, it is undeniable that the Society 5.0 era will bring new challenges in the field of education, where digital literacy is the key to success. So that the role of MDT as a religious educational institution has high relevance in shaping the character and spiritual intelligence of the younger generation.

"Therefore, in facing these new demands, a new paradigm design and strategic steps are needed. Such as holistic curriculum development, technology integration in learning, provision of adequate facilities and infrastructure," explained Sailendra.

In addition, the development of relevant learning materials, partnerships with local industries and communities, development of soft skills, periodic monitoring and evaluation, and training to improve the competence of educators so that they are able to provide relevant and quality education as is being held today.

In this regard, this technical guidance activity is expected to be not just an annual routine, but to be a real effort to improve the quality of diniyah education in Malang City. In addition, this technical guidance is also expected to be a medium in channeling new knowledge and skills for participants which can later be applied in the teaching and learning process.

"So that educators can become agents of change who are able to inspire and guide students to become a generation with noble character, knowledge, and are ready to face the challenges of the times," added Sailendra.

In this case, of course, the Malang City Government will also continue to fully support efforts to improve the quality of education, including religious education. "We are committed to continuing to work together with various parties, including educational institutions, religious leaders, and the wider community, in order to realize Malang as a religious and cultured City of Education," he said.

These educators are heroes who laid the foundation for Islamic knowledge and education from an early age. "With this event, in addition to receiving blessings and strengthening faith and piety to Allah SWT, hopefully our presence will increase intimacy and strengthen the bonds of friendship for the sake of strengthening Islamic brotherhood," concluded Sailendra.
