Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Plenary Meeting of the legislative and executive ranks of Malang City was held at the Malang City DPRD Building, Friday (31/5/2024). The agenda of the plenary meeting discussed was the Delivery of General Views of the Factions on the Draft Regional Regulation on Accountability for the Implementation of the 2023 Fiscal Year APBD.
Previously, on Thursday (30/05/2024), Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM has delivered a presentation related to this matter. In this plenary meeting, the six factions in the Malang City DPRD highlighted several points that had not met the target, such as the regional revenue target and the remaining budget financing (SiLPA).
In addition, several factions also requested improvements to public infrastructure, such as roads and water channels to reduce flooding. Optimization of BUMD performance was requested to be maximized in order to boost Malang City's Original Regional Income (PAD).
What are the suggestions, criticisms and inputs from the ranks of the Malang City DPRD were appreciated by the Acting Mayor of Malang. According to him, although there are some targets that are less than optimal, there are also some that are in accordance with what is expected.
"In this case, we sometimes encounter regulations and indeed should not be violated. In addition, we also carry out budget efficiency and in its use refer to the priority scale," added Wahyu.
The number one man in the Malang City Government added that his party had prepared answers to questions or requests for explanations from the factions. "Regardless of all that, for next year we are optimistic that the performance achievement or realization of the target will be achieved even better," said Wahyu.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chairperson of the Malang City DPRD, Rimzah, after leading the plenary meeting said that later a hearing or hearing of opinions would be held with the ranks of the Malang City Government.
