Wahyu Hidayat, MM greatly appreciates the Gebyar Plaosan Timur Jadoel held along Jalan Plaosan Timur starting from Friday (31/5/2024) to Sunday (2/6/2024). The event, which has been held for the second time, features an MSME bazaar, arts and cultural performances from Purwodadi Village and Pandanwangi Village.

Acting Mayor of Malang Wahyu Hidayat said that Gebyar Plaosan Timur Jadoel was extraordinary, both in terms of the creativity of the residents and the turnover of money. Currently, the event organizer has expanded the place, and the time of the event has also been extended. "Previously, it was only in the Purwodadi Village area, but now it has reached the Pandanwangi Village area. I have asked the UMKM actors who participated in this activity, and indeed the buyers are extraordinary," explained Wahyu.
According to Wahyu, having an event like this is very good for MSMEs to move up a class, tourism to increase, arts and culture to be preserved, and no less important is the increasing circulation of money. "It is proven that the circulation of money this year is higher than last year," he said.
He added that this event is very good for developing arts and culture, because residents also display various arts and other performances. "There are remong dance, bantengan, drum band, angklung, campursari, and others," added Wahyu.
Moreover, in this event, you can also find various culinary specialties from the past and also contemporary culinary. "Seeing the great enthusiasm of the community, I am sure that in the three days of the implementation of Plaosan Timur Jadoel, the money circulating in this event can reach more than Rp450 million," he said confidently.
Meanwhile, the Chief Executive of Plaosan Timur Jadoel, Juari said that this event was held thanks to good cooperation with all parties. "The Plaosan Timur Jadoel activity can certainly improve the UMKM of residents in Purwodadi and Pandanwangi. Furthermore, the goal to be achieved is to preserve the culture in Indonesia wrapped in diversity. This event is also to commemorate Pancasila Day which falls on June 1, 2024," he explained.
