Kedungkandang (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government plans to complete a bypass road in the Sawojajar area, precisely on Jalan Danau Jonge. However, in the bypass road area there is land that is part of Malang Regency measuring 200 meters that must be cleared, and currently the best solution is still being sought.
Acting Mayor of Malang, Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM, when met on Friday (31/5/2024) said that efforts to resolve the issue had been made by coordinating and sitting together with related parties. "However, because land acquisition must be carried out, we must first see this. There is also an appraisal (estimated price) and all sorts, so that the value of the land can be found," he added.
When asked whether if later they have met and there is an agreement on the land value, it will be allocated in the Financial Budget Change (PAK) this year, the number one man in the Malang City Government could not confirm. However, although the possibility is small, Wahyu hopes that in the near future there will be a best solution.
TRegarding this shortcut, the man from Malang City admitted that since he was initially entrusted to be the Acting Mayor of Malang in September 2023, he had seen the location and his party thought that this shortcut was indeed needed and would certainly be beneficial for the community. "Regardless of the current budget problems, I believe that it will be resolved properly. It's just a matter of time," concluded Wahyu. (say/yon)
