Lowokwaru (malangkota.go.id) – Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM together with the Head of PAUD Malang City Dra. Hj. Hanik Andriani Wahyu Hidayat participated in gymnastics with the community in an activity entitled Creative Kebaya Gymnastics at Dinoyo Field, Dinoyo Village, Lowokwaru District, Malang City, Sunday (9/6/2024).
This Kebaya Creative Gymnastics received appreciation from the Acting Mayor of Malang. According to him, this activity is one of the efforts to encourage people to live healthy by exercising gymnastics, while preserving cultural heritage.
"Because with kebaya gymnastics, through gymnastics we exercise, we are all healthy, we can relax our muscles. Before we work again, we are fresh so we can work better," said the number one person in the Malang City Government (Pemkot) environment.
Wahyu further stated that by wearing a kebaya, which is one of Javanese cultural heritages, it is a manifestation of continuing to prioritize existing culture, especially in Malang City.
"I really appreciate it, this kebaya is not only for formal events, but we can also carry out informal activities like this. We show that we are not only exercising, but also preserving our cultural traditions by wearing kebaya," said the Acting Mayor of Malang.
In addition to joint exercise, the Malang City Government also presents various public services for the community as a form of outreach to bring people closer and provide convenience to the surrounding community. The services provided include Bapenda related to Tax Services, Dispendukcapil for KTP, KIA, AKTE, IKD services and Population Registration consultations, Dinsos P3AP2KB for KIE Services and Free KB Registration, Diskopindag for brand and halal certification services, Perumda Tunas related to Cheap Basic Necessities, Dinkes provides PTM (non-communicable disease) Screening, Disnaker PMPTSP provides OSS, NIB and PIRT services, and Perumda Tugu Tirta for PDAM Complaints & Marketing.
"Of course, besides our kebaya gymnastics, there are also public services and UMKM in Lowokwaru District. Because we want to improve UMKM in Malang City to move up a class," said Wahyu.
Wahyu said that the Malang City Government has had various programs to develop and improve MSMEs. Where the program has received appreciation not only at the provincial level but even nationally. In the future, his party will continue to strengthen assistance to MSMEs, both in Lowokwaru District and Malang City. This is a form of Wahyu's commitment as Acting Mayor of Malang through his programs.
Also present at the Creative Gymnastics in Kebaya activity this time were the heads of regional apparatus in the Malang City Government environment and their wives, Sub-district Heads and Village Heads throughout Lowokwaru District along with the mothers of the TP PKK. (yul/yon)
