Malang (malangkota.go.id) – Being born with special needs is not an obstacle for Athaya Putri Nirwasita to produce beautiful and unique paintings. Not using pencils or paint brushes in general, Athaya paints her paintings using kitchen utensils, cleaning tools, etc.
Since August 2021, Athaya has started her painting activities seriously. Not only as a painting, Athaya's scribbles are applied to various fashion products such as scarves, hijabs, bucket hats, outers, bags, and shoes. Together with her mother, Maisah, the brand "Athaya Arts" was born with the characteristic of bright color patterns. Unexpectedly, Athaya Arts fashion products are in great demand by various groups because they are also designed to follow trends.
Although her work seems abstract, Athaya's paintings contain stories. Therefore, Athaya Arts carries the slogan "Every Work Has a Story". Athaya Arts' success in producing interesting and rare fashion works has also received much appreciation from the region to the nation.
