Malang (malangkota.go.id) – Dasterqu is a fashion brand of embroidered daster typical of Malang that was established in 2014. The business pioneered by Fiha Nur Khazisah and Heny Barkah was born from a passion for sewing and an interest in embroidered daster which is one of the iconic products of Malang City.
Dasterqu certainly pays great attention to the quality of its products. Starting from the material, stitching, to the finishing details are very carefully considered. "We use a combination of bold and varied colors. The flower designs are also varied. We also make them in various daster models," continued Fiha Nur Khazisah. Because of their uniqueness and good quality, Dasterqu products are accepted by people from various circles. In fact, the woman who is familiarly called Fifi revealed that she once received an order for 800 Malangan dasters from the Chief of the Indonesian Police (Kapolri).
Not only Malangan daster, there are several other products produced such as embroidered mukena, babydoll pajamas, home decoration with embroidered accents such as tablecloths, chair cushion covers, tissue holders, to various souvenirs. In running the business that has been running for 10 years, Dasterqu is assisted by 20 employees, the majority of whom are women. (Ari)
