Malang (malangkota.go.id) – Her passion for collecting batik, various Indonesian textiles, and various antiques prompted Yunita to establish Soendari Batik & Art. Coming from a family that is familiar with batik crafts, Yunita does not only sell batik cloth and clothing.

Soendari Batik & Art also develops Malang's distinctive batik by highlighting its various distinctive icons. Masks and monuments are some of Malang's icons that are Soendari's batik motifs. With a beautiful combination of colors, it produces a variety of beautiful Malang batik fabrics. Not only is it a source of pride for Malang residents, this Malang batik is also often hunted by tourists who come to Malang to take home as souvenirs. Soendari Batik & Art also often participates in various exhibitions held by the Malang City Government or other agencies and often represents Malang City in various national-scale events.
Not only selling batik, Soendari Batik & Art also wants to continue to preserve traditional Indonesian textiles, especially batik, by providing batik training and workshops. In fact, Soendari Batik & Art, located on Jl. Soekarno Hatta No. A2, Mojolangu, Lowokwaru District, Malang City, is often a destination for educational batik tourism. In this place, visitors can get education related to the history and development of Indonesian batik and textiles, how the batik process works, and participate in making batik cloth, both stamped and hand-drawn.
