Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – As an effort by the Malang City Government to handle and overcome poverty starting from the most basic stage, namely preparing data on poor or underprivileged communities, the Malang City Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) launched the Malang City Social Welfare Data Collection (PDKTSAM) Reborn application in the Ngalam Command Center (NCC) room, Malang City Hall, Wednesday (19/6/2024).
Head of Bappeda Malang City Dwi Rahayu, SH, M.Hum said, as the name suggests, the PDKTSAM Reborn application is not a new application, but rather an update of the same application previously. The difference is, the PDKTSAM Reborn application this time is equipped with additional monitoring evaluation features and geospatial data that were previously not available.
"Monitoring and evaluation in its development will be two, the first in the short term will be feedback data from regional devices or agencies that request data from PDKTSAM. Then for the long term, the program activities that have been implemented will be included in the data collection so that the monitoring and evaluation process is easy," he explained.
In addition, the PDKTSAM Reborn application is also supported by geospatial data that has been integrated with the Geospatial Information Agency (BIG), so it is hoped that the data presented will also be more valid because it is not only presented by name, but also by address with a geoportal system.
He further stated that the main objective of launching this application is to prepare target data for handling and overcoming poverty for the Malang City Government and other stakeholders so that all interventions carried out are more targeted.
Meanwhile, Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM who also attended the launch of this application greatly appreciated the improvements made. According to him, with the addition of monitoring evaluation features and geospatial data, the presentation of poverty data in Malang City in the future will be clearer, so that the steps taken to deal with poverty can be more socially appropriate.
In the near future, Wahyu said that his party plans to carry out a data integration process between related regional devices. That way, the problem of poverty in Malang City can be mapped clearly and can be directly handled by regional devices with their respective duties and functions.
"For this data, we collaborate with all regional devices to be able to map out what the regional devices can handle according to their duties," he concluded. (iu/yon)
