Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM attended the Inauguration of the Branch Transformation 'KCP Blimbing', Wednesday (19/6/2024). As of today, BNI KCP Blimbing which was previously located in the Ruko De Panorama Square area has moved to Jl. Ahmad Yani No. 73 Malang City. Unlike other branch offices, BNI KCP Blimbing is also integrated with BNI Securities.
In his speech, the Acting Mayor of Malang expressed his appreciation to BNI as a BUMN engaged in banking that dares to make various new breakthroughs so that the public is more literate about finance and investment. Especially for BNI KCP Blimbing which targets the younger generation who are starting to be interested in stock investment by providing a trusted and safe space through BNI Securities.
Wahyu said that the 800 thousand students are certainly a potential for economic movement in this City of Education. "This is the potential that Malang City has with its many universities and students. Students are now also increasingly critical and brave, including in using banking and investment services that are quite promising," he explained.
Wahyu hopes that BNI's presence can support the Malang City Government to increase the potential of MSMEs, one of which is through assistance with access to capital. With adequate capital support, of course MSME actors will be able to develop their businesses, improve the quality of products and services, and be able to compete in an increasingly competitive market.
"We also hope that BNI can provide education and assistance for MSMEs such as financial management, marketing strategies, and the use of financial technology that supports the sustainability of MSMEs in Malang City. And can encourage more inclusive and sustainable economic growth," he said.
The presence of BNI Branch Transformation is the first in Malang City, even in Indonesia. This new theme shows the synergy between BNI and its subsidiary, BNI Sekuritas, which focuses on trading securities and stocks.

The high interest among students in stock investment is said to be due to a paradigm shift from conventional savings to savings in the form of stocks because of the potential margin of up to 25 percent. "By setting aside Rp100 thousand, you can buy stocks, collect them for a year, sell them next year with a margin of 20 to 25 percent. Students are currently very critical.
