Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM attended the Haflah Akhirunnasah and Awarding of Stars for Students of Qurrota A'yun Plus Elementary School for the 2023/2024 Academic Year which was attended by 76 students at the Savana Hotel, Malang City, Saturday (22/6/2024). On this occasion, the Acting Mayor of Malang was accompanied by the Head of the Malang City Education and Culture Office (Disdikbud) Suwarjana, the Head of the Malang City Communication and Information Office M. Nur Widianto, and the Head of the Social Welfare Division of the Malang City Regional Secretariat R. Achmad Mabrur.
Acting Mayor of Malang Wahyu Hidayat in his speech thanked SD Plus Qurrota 'Ayun for its consistency in providing quality education. "Not only general knowledge, SD Plus Qurrota 'Ayun also has a strong religious education curriculum. This is an added value," explained the number one person in the Malang City Government.
Wahyu hopes that these graduating students will continue to develop and show their best potential in the future to prepare for the golden generation in 2045. The Acting Mayor of Malang also prayed that the alumni of SD Plus Qurota 'Ayun will become great and qualified people. "Qurrota Ayun School educates its students from Playgroup, Kindergarten, to Elementary School which not only provides general knowledge but also Islamic values. This is very important to build a strong young generation, possessing knowledge of piety and faith," concluded Wahyu.
Principal of SD Plus Qurrota 'Ayun Ningrum Wulandari expressed her gratitude and happiness for the success that the students have achieved. According to her, this success cannot be separated from the hard work of the students, the support of parents and also the guidance of the teachers.
"Hopefully in 10-20 years, children can become people who are not only beautiful and handsome, but can also grow into successful people and have noble morals," explained Ningrum. (cah/yn)
