Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – The position of Head of Class I Immigration Office of Malang Immigration Checkpoint (TPI) which was previously held by Galih Priya Kartika Perdhana, has now been officially replaced by Anggoro Widjanarko. The handover procession was carried out at the Harris Hotel, Malang City, Friday (21/6/2024).

As a new leader, Anggoro said that he would continue and improve the work program of previous officials. One of them is to make the agency he leads into a Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Region (WBBM)
In addition, the man who previously served as Head of the Class II Immigration Office in Pareparé, South Sulawesi, said that his party would increase supervision of the presence of foreigners.
"No less important is also related to the high passport making service, as well as strengthening various innovations in an effort to improve services to the community. For example, drive thru services and passport making applications so that they will suppress acts of corruption and nepotism," he added.
Anggoro said his party will evaluate the performances that need to be evaluated and also the performance targets that have not been realized until the end of this year. "Because this is the middle of the year, we will re-evaluate if there are any that have not been achieved so that we can catch up later," he said.
From the various programs, Anggoro is optimistic that they can be realized well. Because, in addition to forming a solid team in its ranks, his party will also collaborate with various parties, starting from the TNI-Polri, local governments, the district attorney's office, religious leaders and community leaders.
These various steps have received appreciation from various parties, including the Acting Mayor of Malang, Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM. "I am optimistic and believe that in the future, Malang Immigration will be even better," he said after congratulating the new head of the Malang Immigration Office.
"So far everything has been good, but in the future it will definitely be better. One form of our support is by increasing the immigration service time at the Public Service Mall (MPP) from two days to four days," Wahyu concluded. (say/yon)
