Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM inaugurated the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Bathing, Washing and Toilet (MCK) facilities from Hermina Tangkuban Perahu Hospital in Kayutangan Heritage Village, Wednesday (26/6/2024).
The Acting Mayor of Malang greatly appreciates the Hermina Tangkuban Perahu Hospital that provides its CSR. The number one person in the Malang City Government hopes that other companies can provide their CSR to Malang City to support the progress of development. "We hope that there are more entrepreneurs who provide their CSR to other tourist areas in Malang City, not only in Kayutangan," explained Wahyu.
Acting Mayor of Malang Wahyu Hidayat said that the construction of this MCK is part of the need to complete the infrastructure at the Kayutangan tourist destination. Where every year the number of tourists at Kayutangan Heritage continues to increase by 300 percent. "Of course this must be balanced with adequate facilities and infrastructure, so that visitors to Kayutangan Heritage are more comfortable," explained Wahyu.
CSR from RS Hermina Tangkuban Perahu in the form of building three MCK points in the Kayutangan area. "One MCK in RW 10, Kauman Village, one in Bougenville, and one more at the Mbah Onggo Tomb. This is a very important need because tourists who come to Kayutangan are not only from within the country, but also from abroad," said Wahyu.
Supported by good MCK facilities and infrastructure that meet health standards, it is hoped that tourists who come to Kayutangan can feel comfortable and their tourist visits can continue to increase. In addition to the addition of MCK, the Malang City Government also continues to add other facilities and infrastructure in Kayutangan, including the addition of Public Street Lighting (PJU).
Director of Hermina Tangkuban Perahu Hospital, Dr. Wenny Retno Sarie Lestari, said that CSR in Kayutangan is part of the anniversary celebration of Hermina Hospital. This program is the result of coordination with the Malang City Government in this case through the Klojen District.
"We want to build MCK in Kayutangan Area to support the Malang City Government program to boost the number of tourist visits to Kayutangan," explained Wenny. (cah/yn)
