Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – After launching the 'Sahabat UMKM' program, Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM inaugurated the Malang Creative City Planning Gallery at the Malang Creative Center (MCC) Building, Malang City, Friday (28/6/2024). The number one person in the Malang City Government appreciated the existence of the gallery which has various sophisticated technologies.
"This is very sophisticated and extraordinary, and it is all the result of the creativity of the young people of Malang City, including the supporting facilities that are included in the program to Increase the Use of Domestic Products (P3DN), as instructed by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, who must use domestic products," added Wahyu.
Not only that, what also gives us pride is because the makers are local children, namely the youth of Malang City. "When I accompanied the Minister of Cooperatives and the Senior Deputy of Bank Indonesia some time ago, he said this gallery is the only one in Indonesia, and has only been found in Singapore," said Wahyu.
Creativity like this, according to him, must receive support from various parties, so that in the future various creativity will emerge from young people, especially from Malang City. From this, it is one of the benefits of the existence of this MCC building, which in the end this creative young generation continues to develop its abilities.
On this occasion, the Acting Mayor of Malang also inaugurated the escalator facility as a supporting facility at MCC. According to him, the existence of this escalator is indeed an urgent need, considering the intensity of people coming and utilizing this MCC is quite high. "From various facilities, public enthusiasm is quite high, so the existence of this escalator is very supportive," concluded Wahyu. (say/yon)
