Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Providing easy access to various public services digitally, the Malang City Government (Pemkot) launched the Malang Mbois application developed by the Malang City Communication and Information Service (Diskominfo).

The Malang Mbois application, which was officially launched by the Acting Mayor of Malang, Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM in the series of the Malang Digital Forum 2024 at the Savana Hotel, Monday night (2/7/2024), is projected to become a super-app for Malang City that provides a one-stop service to help the daily lives of residents who live and work in Malang City.
Malang Mbois unites news services, population, licensing and local taxes, emergencies, CCTV, aspirations and complaints, tourism, UMKM, Malang City Tour and various other features and information that can now be explored more easily in one hand. This single portal of Malang City Government's mobile public service based on Android in its initial version has consolidated 31 applications with hundreds of services.
"The Malang Mbois application is a manifestation of harmony, synergy and collaboration from all regional devices in the Malang City Government in providing easy services to the community. Because the service applications from several regional devices in Malang City are integrated in one application or can be called one stop service," explained Wahyu.
Wahyu hopes that the Malang Mbois Application can provide efficiency and effectiveness of public services. Where the launch of this application is not the end of the Malang City Government's efforts, but rather the beginning of a long journey towards a more modern government that is responsive to the needs of the community.
Wahyu further stated that this is a follow-up to the achievements of the Malang City Government which entered the top ten in the 2024 Digital Government Award as well as a follow-up to the instructions of the President of the Republic of Indonesia which suggested the existence of an integrated application portal for all public services.
"In Malang City, we follow up with the Malang Mbois application, the hope is that with this application we can collect all application platforms in Malang City as a form of our service to the community. So it will be easier for us to provide services to the community with just one platform," he explained.
During the launch, a Forum Group Discussion (FGD) was also held on the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) and Smart City as well as a declaration of commitment which is expected to strengthen understanding and discussion to strengthen its implementation.
"This declaration is a reminder for them that they have signed a commitment. And we will always remind all heads of regional apparatuses of this commitment to continue to be monitored and finally become an easy, safe, comfortable service that can be enjoyed by the people of Malang City," he concluded.
