This was conveyed by the Head of the Aptika Division of the Malang City Communication and Informatics Service (Diskominfo) Pandu Zanuar Sulistyo while attending the sharing session 'Malang's Startup Leaders Talk & Demo Day' at Indigo Space Malang, Friday (12/7/2024).

One of the challenges in implementing government digitalization, he said, is the relatively large number of applications, which poses risks in terms of the quality of their implementation. "We have to be more selective, whether the application is effective in supporting services and has an impact. This can also open up space for startups to collaborate with us," he said.

In the event attended by creative industry players in Malang City and its surroundings, Pandu also introduced the super app that was just launched by Diskominfo Malang as an effort to make various applications efficient in one application. "Malang Mbois is an innovation of a single portal for integrated public services," he explained introducing the application.

The Malang Mbois application was launched to provide convenience for the public to access various digital services of the Malang City Government. As a super app, Malang Mbois presents various features such as information and news services, population, licensing and regional taxes, emergencies, CCTV, aspirations and complaints, tourism, UMKM, Malang City Tour, and various other features and information that can be explored more easily.

"We are very open to feature updates. Please, if you suggest something, we can collaborate. Because here there is also a creative economy feature that can be filled. Hopefully it can be a form of facilitation for the digital creative economy ecosystem, including for improving information security. We realize that we cannot do it alone," he concluded. (ari/yon)
