Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Manpower, Investment and Integrated One-Stop Service Office (Disnaker PMPTSP) of Malang City held a Socialization of Risk-Based Business Licensing at the Savana Hotel & Convention Malang City, Tuesday (16/7/2024). In accordance with the provisions, every business actor is required to have obtained legality in the form of a business license before starting their business activities. In accordance with Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation, the business licensing currently in effect is a risk-based business licensing which is a business license based on the level of business scale and the determination of the risk of the business activities carried out.

Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM expressed his hope that with this socialization, business actors will understand that the business licensing system is easy. "Including for MSME actors, so that they understand. Maybe so far licensing has been considered difficult and complicated. Hopefully with this socialization they will get an idea and understand so that they can further develop their businesses," he said.
The implementation of business licensing through the Online Single Submission – Risk Based Approach (OSS RBA) system can provide speed, certainty, convenience, and transparency to business actors. Thus, Wahyu hopes that the ease of business licensing will have an impact on the investment climate in Malang City.
"This business licensing certainly affects the investment climate in Malang City. Thank God, Malang City's investment yesterday in the third and fourth quarters increased very significantly, so that we won the investment performance award. This is very good," said Wahyu.
It is known that based on data from the National Single Window for Investment (NSWI) of BKPM RI, the performance of investment realization growth in Malang City for three consecutive years has continued to experience a significant increase. "This shows that investors' confidence in investing in Malang City is increasing, because the business and investment climate is considered safe, comfortable, and clear, especially regarding licensing," explained Wahyu.
Adding, Head of Disnaker PMPTSP Malang City Arif Tri Sastyawan, S.STP, M.Si said that the activity attended by 342 participants was intended to provide understanding for the community and business actors regarding the process of submitting business permits. "We encourage the community to have risk-based business permits as the legality of their business. The participants are the result of proposals from the Malang City community through the Thematic Elderly and Youth Development Planning Deliberation (Musrenbang)," explained Arif. (ari/yon)
