Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Plenary Meeting of the Malang City DPRD with the agenda of Delivering the Opinions of the Factions on the Draft General Policy for Changes to the APBD and the Temporary Budget Priorities and Ceilings (KUPA-PPAS) of the Malang City APBD for the 2024 Fiscal Year was held in the Malang City DPRD Meeting Room, Wednesday (17/7/2024).
Six factions in the Malang City DPRD expressed their views. Ferry Kurniawan from the PDI Perjuangan Faction conveyed a recommendation that the Draft KUPA-PPAS must reflect budget changes that truly have an impact on the development of Malang City.
For that, after conducting a documentary analysis, there are 17 recommendations and notes to be discussed together in determining a mature plan. "The 2024 KUPA-PPAS draft must refer to various regulations, including Law Number 1 of 2022 concerning Financial Relations Between the Central Government and Regional Governments," explained Ferry.
Similarly, Ike Kisnawati from the National Awakening Party (PKB) faction said that the 2024 Malang City Budget KUPA-PPAS is an important document. "We emphasize that the 2024 KUPA-PPAS must be discussed in more depth by the Malang City DPRD Budget Agency together with the Malang City Government TPAD team," said Ike.
The hope of FPKB is that this decision can bring real benefits to the development of Malang City. Malang City in the future will be better, more advanced, and can realize a prosperous and dignified society.
Malang City DPRD Chairman I Made Rian Dianakartika said that the faction's opinion was a response to the introduction delivered by the Acting Mayor of Malang regarding the Draft KUPA-PPAS APBD 2024. The faction's opinion will be continued in the Malang City DPRD Budget Agency Meeting and the faction leadership meeting to unify the opinions of the Malang City DPRD. "Early next week we can complete the discussion of the Draft KUPA-PPAS. The target is to complete it in early August 2024," said Made.
Meanwhile, Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM said that the faction's opinion would be the basis for evaluation for regional apparatus. "So earlier there were suggestions related to SiLPA, income tax, levies, many things that must be emphasized so that we can evaluate them. Later, from this KUPA we will follow up by calling the head of the regional apparatus. Next week we will discuss it and God willing there will be a determination of the KUPA," he concluded. (cah/yon)
