Breadfruit (malangkota.go.id) – The Head of the Youth, Sports and Tourism Service (Disporapar) of Malang City representing Baihaqi representing the Acting Mayor of Malang attended the opening of the Industrial HR Training and Sports Promotion held by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) at the Ijen Suites Resort & Convention Malang, Sunday evening (21/7/2024).
In his speech, Baihaqi said that his party welcomed and appreciated this event. According to him, this program is a form of concern for the sports industry so that in the future it will be even better.
"This training will also support the East Java Provincial Sports Week (Porprov) in 2025, where Malang City will be the host. That way, three successes will be realized, namely successful implementation, successful achievements and successful economic empowerment," he explained.
Baihaqi further said that so far business actors, especially in the field of sports, have three obstacles, namely capital, access and marketing. Thus, through the training program, these three problems will be answered and the best solution will be found.
"Participants who take part in this training should feel proud and be able to make the best use of it, so that it will later become a database for the Ministry of Youth and Sports in order to continue to promote achievements in various sports," explained Baihaqi.
According to him, Malang Raya and especially Malang City has great potential in the world of sports. Not only athletes, but also industries or productive business opportunities, such as badminton rackets and shuttlecocks. "After this training, of course there will be a follow-up from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, so that these various potentials can be better known and have a clear market share," concluded Baihaqi.
