Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – After going through a long process, the Draft General Policy for Budget Changes and Temporary Budget Ceiling Priorities (KUPA-PPAS) for the Malang City Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) for the 2024 fiscal year was finally approved by the Malang City Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD).
This is what was captured in the Plenary Meeting of the Malang City DPRD with the agenda of Decision Making on the Draft KUPA-PPAS of the Malang City APBD for the 2024 fiscal year in the Plenary Meeting Room of the Malang City DPRD, Thursday (25/7/2024).
The plenary session begins with the delivery of the final opinions of the factions, followed by the making of a decision, then the delivery of the mayor's final opinion, and ends with the signing of the decision.
Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM revealed that several matters noted by the Malang City DPRD will be followed up. "Later we will discuss it in more detail and detail in the 2024 Revised APBD," he explained.
Before that, he said of course it would be reported first to the East Java Province. In addition, there are several things in the faction's view that are noted. "We will follow up in the Revised APBD later in detail, currently it is still KUPA," said Wahyu.
Meanwhile, Malang City DPRD Chairman I Made Riandiana Kartika said that according to the results of the Banggar Agency's discussion on the Draft KUPA-PPAS, in several regional devices there were budget additions and reductions. The hope is that it can be optimized and there will be no Budget Surplus (SiLPA).
"Yesterday's SiLPA was the largest in several agencies because the salary budget was too large, because they hoped there would be additional CPNS or PPPK and it turned out there were none. We hope that with this the APBD posture will change, so that the potential for SilPA can be reduced by looking at programs that cannot be implemented," he said.
Made further mentioned that through this KUPA-PPAS, it will be continued in more detail in the 2024 Revised APBD which is expected to be ratified on August 9, 2024. (cah/yon)
