Dishub Launches Parking Payment via VA Transfer
Malang City – The Malang City Government through the Transportation Agency (Dishub) officially launched and socialized parking fee payments using virtual account (VA) transfers in the Mini Block Office Building hall of Malang City Hall, Friday (2/8/2024).
Head of Malang City Transportation Agency Widjaja Saleh Putra revealed that the innovation of parking fee payment through virtual account transfer had actually been discussed early last year, but it was only realized now. "Alhamdulillah, thanks to good cooperation with friends, it can finally be launched today," explained Widjaja.
The socialization and launch were attended by 51 parking attendants from 51 parking points that will be used as pilot projects from a total of 971 parking points spread across Malang City. "We all have good intentions. The Regional Original Income (PAD) increases, makes monitoring easier, and parking fees are transparent," explained Widjaja.
The man who is often called Jaya explained that the target for parking revenue in 2024 is IDR 17 billion, and has reached IDR 6,3 billion. He said that the implementation of this non-cash payment system is to facilitate services. "The goal is to minimize parking levy leakage, as well as provide transparent services related to levies by parking attendants," he explained.
He explained that his party provided payment through VA so that everything is transparent and avoids negative issues circulating in the community. Jaya said that his party also provides customer parking payment services using the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS).
"We also prepare QRIS payments for customers at the 51 points. Later, each parking attendant will carry a card containing a QRIS code for parking payments. However, customers can still pay for parking manually or in cash," he concluded.
