Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM was present and kicked off the fun walk held by the Regional Public Company (Perumda) Tugu Tirta Drinking Water of Malang City in the front yard of Malang City Hall, Sunday (4/8/2024).
In addition to being a series of events to commemorate the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, this fun walk activity also launched the Sapa Warga (Ready to Accommodate Customer Complaints Maximally) program. In addition, it also became an event to introduce the Board of Directors of Perumda Tugu Tirta who carry a new spirit with the jargon 'Strong, Synergy, Best'.
"I appreciate the activities organized by Perumda Tugu Tirta. First, related to the launching of Sapa Warga. I hope that with this Sapa Warga program there is a media that does not limit Perumda Tugu Tirta with the community," said Acting Mayor of Malang Wahyu Hidayat.
With the new formation, the Board of Directors of Perumda Tugu Tirta stepped on the gas to provide services for consumers in this case the people of Malang City. The Acting Mayor of Malang also expressed his appreciation for the Sapa Warga program, where customer complaints are received and immediately followed up optimally and maximally.
In addition, through this fun walk activity, the people of Malang City are invited to strengthen a healthy lifestyle, one of which is by exercising regularly. "This fun walk is so that we stay healthy. Earlier we walked three and a half kilometers," he explained.
Approximately 2.000 participants who took part in the fun walk seemed enthusiastic in following the series of activities that began with group gymnastics as a warm-up. 40 UMKM booths also enlivened the event by selling their superior products. The Acting Mayor of Malang together with the Regional Secretary of Malang City and the Board of Directors of Perumda Tugu Tirta and the ranks of regional apparatuses in the Malang City Government (Pemkot) environment were seen happily blending in with the residents.
"We also got to know the new directors, starting from the President Director, the Director of Administration and Finance, and the Director of Engineering. Hopefully with this introduction the public can get to know, because if you don't know then you won't love," he said frankly.
Acting Mayor of Malang together with the Regional Secretary of Malang City and the Board of Directors of Perumda Tugu Tirta also had the opportunity to draw door prizes for the fun walk activity with the main prizes being bicycles and motorbikes. On that occasion, Wahyu also had a direct dialogue with residents to gather information related to services and obstacles that occurred for immediate follow-up.
"This activity is very good, there are also MSMEs that are embraced by Perumda Tugu Tirta. Earlier I saw that all the MSME stands were bought up by the participants. Hopefully today's activity can have a positive impact on the community, Perumda Tugu Tirta, and the Malang City Government," he concluded. (yul/yon)
