Malang City Government Receives Reference Study from Bintan Regency Government

Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Bintan Regency Government, Riau Islands conducted a reference study related to the implementation of social security for workers receiving incentives in Malang City, Tuesday (6/8/2024). The Bintan Regency Government group was received directly by the Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM along with staff in the Meeting Room of Malang City Hall.

In his speech, Wahyu said that the support of the Malang City APBD for Jamsostek is Rp3,298 billion. In Malang City, there are currently 26.400 workers receiving incentives covered by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. "Of that number, the recipients include 4.338 RT Heads, 559 RW Heads, 4.489 Linmas members, 1.357 modin, and 2.152 guards of places of worship," he explained.

Furthermore, the number one person in the Malang City Government said that his party always coordinates and synergizes with BPJS Ketenagakerjaan so that a very good relationship is created.

"Most recently, we launched the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Awareness Market which started in Oro-oro Dowo Market a few days ago. This program will target other people's markets, so that this program will provide a sense of security and comfort for traders," added Wahyu.

At this moment, Wahyu also conveyed the 2024 Malang City APBD posture consisting of regional income of Rp2,367 trillion and regional spending of Rp2,573 trillion. "For regional financing, it consists of income of Rp211 billion and expenditure of Rp5 billion," he concluded. (say/yon)
