Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Plenary Meeting on the Submission of the Response of the Acting Mayor of Malang to the Draft Regional Regulation (Ranperda) on Changes to the Malang City APBD for the 2024 Fiscal Year in the Plenary Meeting Room of the Malang City DPRD, Wednesday (7/8/2024) went smoothly.
In this plenary session, Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM delivered 58 answers. Wahyu revealed that all of the planned plans have been recorded and documented in the Draft Regional Regulation on the P-APBD, and have been distributed to the ranks of the Malang City DPRD.
"Later it will be further discussed in the Budget Agency and the Regional Government Budget Team (TAPD). This is only part of the answer from the General View of the Faction yesterday, and later it will be discussed further between Banggar and TAPD," explained Wahyu.
Responding to questions related to deflation that occurred as a sign of weakening purchasing power of the community, the number one person in the ranks of the Malang City Government ensured that it was still under control. "Malang City's deflation is still measurable, still in a safe and controlled corridor," explained Wahyu.
To ensure this, various steps taken by the Malang City Government together with the Malang City TPID to control inflation include collaborating with related parties and inter-regional cooperation (KAD). In addition, monitoring of commodity stability and prices and inflation control programs are also carried out. "The success of Malang City in controlling inflation has also received appreciation, thank God," he said.
Regarding KAD, he said that the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) has been carried out with Probolinggo Regency for shallots, and Lumajang for chilies. "KAD is carried out because chilies and shallots often contribute to inflation," concluded Wahyu. (cah/yon)
