Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – After being inaugurated by the Acting Governor of East Java Adhy Karyono at the Grahadi State Building in Surabaya on Saturday (10/8/2024), the Acting Mayor of Malang Iwan Kurniawan, ST, MM, who officially took over the duties as Acting Mayor of Malang, led his first roll call at the Malang City Hall, Monday (12/8/2024).
In his direction, Iwan Kurniawan asked for support from all ASN and Malang City residents in carrying out the mandate as Acting Mayor of Malang. "This is the first roll call, I was inaugurated by the Acting Governor of East Java and given the mandate to become Acting Mayor of Malang," he said.
The man who previously served as Acting Regent of Lebak, Banten also invited all levels of the Malang City Government (Pemkot) to prioritize collaboration and synergy. "Malang City is extraordinary, many achievements have been made, as well as achievements that I must maintain and add. Therefore, in carrying out tasks, innovation, togetherness, collaboration and synergy are needed so that we can work well," he said.
"Not only talking about targets, but also innovation to improve Malang City to be better and more advanced. This is part of the commitment to provide the best service to the community. So that the community can feel that the Malang City Government provides the best service to the community. That is what I am guided by," continued Iwan.
The man who still serves as the Director of Regional Development Planning, Evaluation, and Information, Directorate General of Regional Development Development, Ministry of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia also invited all State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in the Malang City environment to maintain the neutrality of ASN as ordered by the Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri).
"The Minister conveyed to me several things, the first is to maintain conduciveness in the implementation of the Simultaneous Regional Elections, the second is to maintain the neutrality of ASN in the implementation of the regional elections, and the third is how I can contribute to achieving programs that are indeed the priorities of the center, provinces and especially those that are the priorities of Malang City," he concluded.
