Want to Improve Program Implementation, TP PKK Nunukan Regency Conducts Study Trip to Malang City

Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The PKK Team of Nunukan Regency, North Kalimantan Province conducted a study tour to the TP PKK of Malang City, Tuesday (20/8/2024). The TP PKK group of Nunukan Regency consisted of 38 TP PKK members and representatives of various regional apparatuses. The group was warmly welcomed by the Assistant for Government and Public Welfare of the Malang City Regional Secretariat, Dr. Ida Ayu Made Wahyuni, SH, M.Si together with the management of the TP PKK of Malang City and related regional apparatuses in the Meeting Room of Malang City Hall.

Ida expressed her pride because Malang City is considered to have various potentials that are interesting for other regions as a place of study. On this occasion, Ida conveyed an overview of the various potentials and achievements of Malang City. PKK Malang City as a government partner, she said, always tries to synergize its programs with regional government development programs, especially to strengthen regional autonomy directed at community empowerment, especially women up to the RT/RW level. "Thank you for making Malang City a comparative study destination. We hope that this gathering will also be an event to strengthen our collaboration together," said Ida.

"TP PKK Malang City strives to provide programs that can be a stimulant to improve the community's economy. One of our flagship programs is urban farming by utilizing limited land for farming. This program actually helps in meeting daily food needs or increasing family income," explained Ida again.

Malang City was chosen as a study destination because it is considered capable of implementing the 10 Main PKK Programs well. This was conveyed by the Chairperson of the Nunukan Regency PKK TP, Sri Kustarwati Hanafiah. Kustarwati wants the implementation of various PKK programs in Malang City to be an example for the movements and steps of the Nunukan Regency PKK.

"We also want to have a role in the development of our region through family development, therefore we want to implement PKK programs as well as possible, so that they can have a positive impact on the community and the region," he continued.

Kustarwati also mentioned the various achievements achieved by TP PKK Malang City as a motivation for her party to also achieve the same achievement. "We know that there are many achievements that have been achieved by TP PKK Malang City such as Pakarti Utama I, also won the Child-Friendly City (KLA) award. Therefore, we intend to gain knowledge and learning to take home which we can also imitate and develop," she said. (ari/yon)
