BKAD Holds Technical Guidance on Financial and Asset Signature Applications

Breadfruit (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government (Pemkot) through the Regional Finance and Asset Agency (BKAD) held a Technical Guidance for the Financial and Asset Signature (Sitangkas) application at the Ijen Suite Hotel, Tuesday (17/9/2024). The use of this digital financial document application for disbursement of Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) expenditures further strengthens the implementation of the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) in the Malang City Government.

Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Malang City Erik Setyo Santoso, ST, MT expressed his appreciation for the steps taken by BKAD which are part of realizing clean, effective, transparent, and accountable governance as well as quality and reliable public services.

"I express my positive appreciation for the implementation of this activity, which is expected to improve the skills of all ASN of Malang City in providing the best service to the community. This is one of the efforts to encourage increased efficiency, transparency and accountability for regional financial management," explained Erik.

With the development of information technology today, the government is also required to follow the digital transformation which is an important part in realizing better and more integrated public services. So that digitalization is no longer just an option but has become a very urgent need. So that the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) or E-Government in the governance of Malang City continues to be strengthened. "This means that the adaptation transformation of the Malang City government must continue to be carried out," he said.

Head of BKAD Malang City, Drs. Subkhan, MAP added that the purpose of implementing the Sitangkas technical guidance is to be a reference for all regional work units within the Malang City Government in the process of submitting APBD spending disbursements through the application of digital signature and storage applications on fund disbursement documents.

"The Sitangkas technical guidance activity was attended by 149 participants. This activity aims to make the disbursement process run more effectively, efficiently and optimally on the side of the Malang City government," explained Subkhan.

The 149 training participants consisted of 28 heads of regional apparatus, 28 financial affairs management officials, 28 expenditure treasurers, and 65 assistant expenditure treasurers at sub-districts and regional secretariat departments within the Malang City Government.

The implementation of the technical guidance includes the delivery of materials by the speakers followed by technical discussions. Furthermore, participants accompanied by the BKAD team and the Malang City Communication and Information Service conducted a trial of the Sitangkas application. "The speakers in this activity are the Regional Secretary of Malang City, BKAD and the Malang City Communication and Information Service," he concluded. (cah/yul)
