Iwan said that filling in sectoral statistical data is important because it is a manifestation of the Malang City Government's commitment regarding the implementation of Satu Data Indonesia. This is a mandate and mandate that has been stated in regulations such as Presidential Regulations (Perpes) and Laws. One of them is Presidential Regulation Number 39 of 2019 concerning Satu Data Indonesia, where all provinces, districts/cities must create a portal Satu Data Integrated Indonesia.
"I appreciate today's meeting held by Bappeda in order to build the commitment of the Malang City Government regarding the implementation of Satu Data Indonesia, which is a mandate and mandate that has been stated in regulations such as Presidential Decrees and Laws," he said.
Iwan, who is also the Director of Regional Development Planning, Evaluation and Information (PEIPD), Directorate General of Regional Development Development, Ministry of Home Affairs, said that currently 52% of the total 8.317 sectoral statistical data for Malang City in 2024 have been filled in. This figure, he explained, is very good compared to other regions which are relatively minimal in filling in their regional sectoral statistical data. As an illustration, there are still many regions that use statistical data based on BPS sources which are also used by Bappenas, Ministries, Provinces, as a database in compiling regional development planning programs.
In the future, Iwan hopes that 47% of the regional sectoral statistical data that has not been filled in can be 100% filled in and published by regional apparatus. Not only published, Iwan also hopes that the data publication process is also carried out in accordance with the stages listed in Presidential Regulation No. 39 of 2019, namely planning, collection, verification, to dissemination. According to him, each stage does not stand alone, but also involves stakeholders, especially BPS which has the task and function of verifying and maintaining the data in accordance with metadata and data standards, to then be published by the regional head.
"So we are committed to completing this 47% by the end of 2024. In December, we will launch that Malang City has carried out its duties and obligations to implement 100% sectoral statistical data for 2024," he concluded. (iu/yul)
