Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – 5.821 PAUD and TK students throughout Malang City enlivened the Children and Teachers' Creativity Festival at Gajayana Stadium, Saturday (21/9/2024). This activity was held in the framework of the Commemoration of National Children's Day, the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, and welcoming Pancasila Sanctity Day.

The Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Malang City, Erik Setyo Santoso, ST, MT, who was present with the Chairperson of the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) of Malang City, Yuni Erik Setyo Santoso, the Head of the Education and Culture Office (Disdikbud) of Malang City, Suwarjana, SE, MM, and the heads of regional apparatuses were seen mingling and participating in the exercise with the kindergarten and PAUD children.
"Today is our children's day, how can these kindergarten and PAUD children gather to provide a space for expression. We saw earlier that children from all over Malang City gathered. They expressed themselves," said Erik enthusiastically.
Erik said that this activity is also a learning medium for children to socialize, meet children from various regions in Malang City. Then they show off their abilities that show how children can grow and develop into extraordinary individuals to welcome the Golden Generation of 2045.
"So we also hope that moments like this are like when we were little. Moments like this feel deeply embedded in our memories, meeting and gathering, from the journey from home to school then to the stadium riding one public transportation together, so it's like a field trip too. So besides the intellectual aspect, of course the hope is that these children will grow and develop into individuals with noble morals," said Erik.
In this activity initiated by the Indonesian Kindergarten Teachers Association (IGTKI-PGRI) of Malang City, PAUD and TK children of Malang City displayed various creativity and extraordinary talents, ranging from group gymnastics, singing to dancing. In addition, 1.750 accompanying and supporting teachers also enlivened this event by performing the Malang Kusuma Dance which is full of local wisdom culture of Malang City. (yul/yon)
