Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The drawing of ballot numbers for the candidate pairs for Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Malang has been completed by the Malang City General Election Commission (KPU) at the Ijen Suites Hotel, Malang City, Monday (23/9/2024).
As a result, Wahyu Hidayat who was paired with Ali Muthohirin got serial number 1, serial number 2 was obtained by Heri Cahyono who was paired with Ganisa Pratiwi Rumpoko, while the pair Mochamad Anton and Dimyati Ayatulloh got serial number 3.
The drawing of the ballot numbers also went smoothly and friendly, and received appreciation from various parties. The Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Malang City, Erik Setyo Santoso ST., MT revealed that the drawing of the ballot numbers was part of the stages of the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Elections.
"We appreciate the performance of the election organizers, the ranks of the TNI-Polri and various Malang City Government agencies, such as Bakesbangpol and Dispendukcapil who have been assisting the KPU and Bawaslu in their duties," explained Erik.
Furthermore, Erik hopes that the implementation of the Pilkada in Malang City will run peacefully, honestly, fairly and transparently, so that it can produce leaders as expected by the community. "Thus, Malang City will be more advanced and developed," continued Erik.
Separately, the Head of the Malang City KPU, Muhammad Toyib expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the cooperation and support so far to the KPU and Bawaslu. According to him, what the election organizers have done so far is also due to contributions from various parties and from the Malang City Government. (say/yon)
