Kedungkandang (malangkota.go.id) – The Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Malang City, Erik Setyo Santoso, ST, MT attended the gathering event of the BUMD Drinking Water throughout East Java which was organized by the Regional Management of the Association of Drinking Water Companies throughout Indonesia (Perpamsi) of East Java at the Perumda Drinking Water Office, Tugu Tirta, Malang City, Wednesday (25/9/2024).
This is certainly an honor for Malang City to be chosen as the location for the meeting and communication event for all drinking water service agencies throughout East Java. "For that, I would like to thank Perpamsi East Java and at the same time convey my welcome to the 38 BUMD Drinking Water participants in the activity," said Regional Secretary Erik.
"Hopefully this gathering activity will be a momentum to strengthen the synergy between all BUMD Drinking Water in East Java, which will ultimately optimize drinking water services for the community," he added.
In today's era, people want optimal services provided by government administrators. And it is the government's duty to present the implementation of public services in various service sectors, especially the public sector concerning the fulfillment of civil rights and basic needs of the community, one of which is drinking water services.
"And as one of the regional-owned companies, Perumda drinking water must be able to answer the challenges amidst the high demands for services from heterogeneous customers, who are increasingly critical and crave excellent service for their water needs," explained Erik.
Innovating, developing and synergizing are the keys for BUMD drinking water in providing quality, quantity and sustainable drinking water to meet the needs of the community.
Malang City Government through Perumda Air Minum Tugu Tirta, Erik said, is also committed to optimizing the quality of Perumda drinking water services and providing greater benefits to the community.
"From this commitment, Perumda Tugu Tirta has also achieved various achievements, including receiving the Top BUMD Awards 2024 #Bintang 5 at the TOP BUMD Awards 2024 event by Top Business and the Regional Autonomy Institute, Champion I of BUMD Drinking Water (Best Performance) in the Cluster Big category at the national level PERPAMSI Awards 2024," he said.
Of course, this achievement is a source of pride, but it is also a whip to continue to strive to strengthen the development of innovation as a form of adaptation in the digital era in order to improve the quality and quantity of information technology-based services in order to realize efficiency and effectiveness of services.
As the vision and mission to realize Perumda Tugu Tirta which is strong and militant internally, able to synergize with work partners and all drinking water stakeholders in the country, and transform into the best Drinking Water BUMD which continues to achieve, continues to innovate and becomes a role model for other PDAMs throughout Indonesia.
So this activity is mentioned as being the right media to manifest it. In line with this, through today's activities which are also packaged in the form of education and training of trainers, it is hoped that it can improve the quality of Human Resources (HR) of BUMD drinking water employees and to realize the East Java PD Perpamsi Program in 2024.
"In addition, it also forms a solid synergy for PD Perpamsi East Java and all its members in improving performance and quality of service to lead to positive progress, and achieve the best results by making achievements and satisfactory service performance, as the slogan of PD Perpamsi East Java, namely Sakduluran Saklawase," he concluded.
