Kedungkandang (malangkota.go.id) – Revenue from nine types of regional taxes in Malang City until the end of the third quarter (September 30, 2024) was realized at Rp505,445,560,740.80. Of this amount, most types of taxes have exceeded the target.
Head of the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) of Malang City, Dr. Handi Priyanto, AP., M.Si when met on Friday (11/10/2024) revealed that the achievement for Certain Goods and Services Tax (PBJT) for Hotel Services in the third quarter was realized at IDR 44,1 billion or 131,4% of the target of IDR 33,6 billion (surplus 31,4%).
Meanwhile, for PBJT Food & Beverage Services, from the target of Rp77,5 billion, Rp124,6 billion or 160.8% was realized (surplus 60,8%). "Advertising Tax of Rp16,8 billion (70%) was realized Rp22 billion (131.3%) or a surplus of 31.3%," he added. "PBJT for electricity was targeted at Rp43,2 billion, realized Rp79,9 billion or 185,2%, this is a surplus of 85,2%. For the target PBJT Parking of Rp1,575 billion, realized Rp3,88 billion or 246,6% (surplus 146,6%)," explained Handi.
Meanwhile, he said, Groundwater Tax of Rp1,8 billion, was realized at Rp2,4 billion or 134,2% (surplus 34,2%). PBB from the target of Rp41,610 billion was realized at Rp64,18 billion or reached 154,2% (surplus 54,2%). "BPHTB of Rp94,5 billion, was realized at Rp155,2 billion (164.3%), or a surplus of 64.3%. For PBJT Arts & Entertainment Services, it was not achieved because there were still minimal sports tournament events & concerts held in Malang City," explained Handi.
All of these achievements, according to him, are due to the high awareness of Malang City residents to pay taxes. "Of course, no less important is the appreciation from Bapenda which also has a significant impact, such as the tax fine exemption program and the Tax Awareness Festival (GSP) which provides an opportunity for the community as taxpayers who have paid their taxes to get a chance in a draw with the main prize of a car," concluded Handi.
