Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government (Pemkot) provided socialization of the People's Housing Savings (Tapera) financing for ASN, Monday (14/10/2024). The Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Malang City Erik Setyo Santoso, ST, MT said this was one of the City Government's efforts to improve the performance of its apparatus by facilitating the fulfillment of primary needs, namely housing.
The Regional Secretary of Malang City appreciates the holding of this socialization which is a medium to provide detailed information regarding Tapera financing, which includes first home ownership credit, home construction credit, and home renovation credit for civil servants.
"Access to own housing for our civil servants is informed. From here we hope that all Malang City Government civil servants have decent housing. Here, it will be informed in detail by BP Tapera, BTN Syariah, and other banking access," he explained.
He emphasized that there is no obligation to participate in this program. "There is no obligation. But here we provide information, ASN has the right to use this facility," he continued.
Erik said that the Malang City Government has also provided civil servant housing with subsidies from the Malang City Government. It is known that the Malang City Government has housing for civil servants located in Lesanpuro, Joyogrand, Bandulan, and Bandungrejosari with thousands of units.
"Currently, the construction of civil servant housing in the Bandulan and Bandungrejosari Sub-districts has entered a significant stage, with a construction plan of around 560 housing units. Of that number, 390 houses have been determined through a mayoral decree, while the rest are still in the process of completing banking administration and submitting a SK approval," explained Erik.
Meanwhile, Acting Secretary of the Malang City Human Resources Development and Personnel Agency (BKPSDM), Hendro Martono, S.AP hopes that ASN can take advantage of Tapera to be able to own a house. "Actually, it has been around for a long time, called Bapetarum. But the process was not as open as it is now with the name Tapera. We hope that more friends will take advantage of it," he said.
Hendro revealed that interest in civil servant housing that is currently being offered in the Bandulan area is very high. He revealed that there are more than 2.000 ASN who have applied, however, after the selection and verification process, only around 490 units have been realized. (ari/yon)
