This is in accordance with the slogan carried, namely Strong, Synergy and the Best. It is not surprising that Perumda Tugu Tirta managed to win the first place in the PERPAMSI Awards 2024 BUMD Drinking Water (Best Performance) in the National Cluster Big category.
This prestigious award, said the President Director of Perumda Tugu Tirta Priyo Sudibyo SE, S.Sos, MM was given thanks to the solidity, synergy and professionalism of Perumda Tugu Tirta. The man who is often called Bogang is also strongly committed to improving the company's performance, because it has proven successful in bringing changes to Perumda Tugu Tirta in a relatively short time.
For his performance, Priyo received the 'Strong Commitment to Improving Company Performance' award in the Bright Figure category at the 2024 Radar Malang Awards. "Perumda Tugu Tirta has also consistently made Malang City proud at the national level. The Directorate of Drinking Water, Directorate General of Human Settlements, Ministry of PUPR appreciates 17 selected cities and regencies throughout Indonesia as pioneers in implementing the Drinking Water Security Plan (RPAM)," added the man who was also a journalist, Thursday (17/10/2024),
As one of the pioneers and pilot projects of the National RPAM, Malang City through Perumda Tugu Tirta was chosen as one of them. "In addition to being a pioneer of RPAM and realizing safe drinking water, Perumda Tugu Tirta's commitment is beyond doubt," said Priyo.
For your information, Tugu Tirta piped water has been certified for quality management and certified for halal product assurance, so it has installed the ISO 9001 2015 (SGS) logo and the Indonesian Halal logo. Since 2022, Perumda Tugu Tirta has officially had a Halal Product Assurance System (SJPH) certificate for water distributed to customers.
"We are the first BUMD drinking water in Indonesia to obtain halal certification, after passing the testing and audit stages carried out by an authorized institution with the capacity to determine halal water in piped water distributed to customers," said Priyo.
This is a real commitment and effort from Perumda Tugu Tirta in providing the best service for the community. "We want the people of Malang City to know that Tugu Tirta water is ready-to-drink water that is safe to consume, because it has gone through laboratory tests, meets the standards of the Minister of Health and is certainly guaranteed halal," he explained.
Perumda Tugu Tirta also received high appreciation from the East Java Regional Management of the Indonesian Drinking Water Companies Association (PD PERPAMSI), because it was considered successful in holding a Gathering of Drinking Water BUMDs throughout East Java on September 25, 2024. A total of 38 directors of Drinking Water BUMDs attended the activity which was held at the Tugu Tirta Head Office.
On that occasion, Priyo explained that the challenge faced together today is the spirit of environmental conservation. This is to maintain the sustainability of water sources as a source of life. "Continuity of distribution and reliability of piped water services are absolute necessities to provide excellent service to the community. This means that BUMD drinking water has a big role and contributes to minimizing the impact of environmental damage due to surface water exploitation due to shallow well drilling," explained Priyo.
The friendly man has just received a new mandate as the Head of Regional Coordinator VI of PD PERPAMSI East Java, Replacement for the Interim Period 2024-2026. "To achieve the target of joint progress, we are ready to conduct consultations and assistance, transfer knowledge with other drinking water BUMDs through the Total System Solutions (ToSS) Tugu Tirta," concluded Priyo.
