Welcoming Santri Day, Malang City Government ASN Wear Muslim Clothing

Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – A different nuance was seen in the morning assembly of State Civil Apparatus (ASN) at Malang City Hall, Monday (21/10/2024). ASN who usually wear khaki uniforms on Mondays, in the assembly led by the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Malang City Erik Setyo Santoso, ST, MT wore Muslim clothing.

"In the framework of Santri Day, for the next three days, starting Monday-Wednesday (October 21-23, 2024), ASN in the Malang City Government who are Muslim are advised to wear Muslim clothing, while non-Muslims must adjust," said the Regional Secretary of Malang City in his direction.

Regional Secretary Erik at this morning's assembly also reminded that with the inauguration of the new President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, the cabinet line-up has also changed, which is named the Red and White Cabinet. "Regional development plans must be in line with national development. So national policies must be observed and responded to properly, to then be formulated and poured out," he said.

On this occasion, the Regional Secretary also reminded all ASN of Malang City to maintain their health condition so that they can work as well as possible. "We have now entered the rainy season, keep your health, we must also continue to improve our preparedness in facing disasters," Erik said again.

Erik also emphasized the importance of synergy and collaboration between agencies, including in disaster mitigation. "This is to reduce the risk of all possible disasters that occur, considering that the rainy season has now arrived. The speed of handling, including the possibility of landslides, must be anticipated. The coordination that has been running well so far must also continue to be improved," he concluded. (cah/yon)
