Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Amithya Ratnanggani Sirraduhita was officially inaugurated as the Chairperson of the Malang City Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) for the 2024-2029 period, replacing I Made Rian Diana Kartika. Acting Mayor of Malang Iwan Kurniawan, ST, MT along with the Forkopimda ranks also attended the inauguration which was held in the Plenary Meeting Room of the Malang City DPRD, Thursday (24/10/2024).
The procession led by the Head of the Malang City District Court (PN) Rosihan Juhriah Rangkuti, SH, MH also included the inauguration and swearing in of three deputy leaders of the Malang City DPRD for the 2024-2029 period, namely Abdurrochman as Deputy Chair I, Trio Agus Purwono as Deputy Chair II, and Rimzah as Deputy Chair III.
On the same occasion, Acting Mayor of Malang Iwan Kurniawan congratulated and expressed his hope for the newly inaugurated DPRD leadership to carry out the mandate that has been given well, with integrity, and responsibility. "Hopefully the Malang City DPRD can carry out its function as a people's representative institution well for the welfare of the community and regional development," Iwan Kurniawan hoped.
Iwan also emphasized that cooperation between the government and the DPRD is the main key to achieving sustainable development programs. "With collaboration and synergy, I am confident and increasingly confident to be able to strengthen conditions to improve public welfare, the quality of public services, and handling strategic issues," he said.
Once again, Iwan emphasized that the most important thing is the strength of togetherness, collaboration, and synergy between the executive and legislative branches that are well established. "May Allah SWT always provide guidance and strength for all of us in carrying out our mandate. Once again, I congratulate the leadership of the Malang City DPRD for the 2024-2029 term, thank you for your togetherness," concluded Iwan.
Meanwhile, the elected Chairperson of the Malang City DPRD, Amithya Ratnanggani Sirraduhita said that in the next five years, her party will synergize all the tasks of the Malang City DPRD effectively and by working together, building cross-agency communication. Her party will also continue the previous DPRD priority program. "Next, we will adjust to what has been designed in the Malang City RPJMD," said the woman who is familiarly called Mia.
Together with all elements, the ranks of the Malang City Government, and the citizens of Malang City, according to Mia, the DPRD must be able to bring and unite differences in the spirit of mutual cooperation, Bineka Tunggal Ika to find a common meeting point for the interests of the people of Malang City.
"So that it can support the running of the wheels of government and the implementation of development in Malang City in order to realize prosperity for the people of Malang City," said Mia.
He emphasized that the position of council leader is a trust given to answer future challenges in the development of the nation and state, especially in Malang City. The oath and promise spoken are a very big responsibility to bring the DPRD to become an institution that has high integrity in the eyes of the public. "We, the leaders of the Malang City DPRD, will maximize efforts to accommodate, channel and fight for the aspirations of the people of Malang City as a form of responsibility for the mandate entrusted to the public," he concluded.
