Lowokwaru (malangkota.go.id) – Digital understanding is one of the strategic efforts of the Malang City Government to increase the capacity of creative economy (ekraf) actors. This is in line with the central government's program to create superior and competitive human resources (HR) in various fields according to the development of the times.

This statement was conveyed by the Expert Staff for Economics and Finance of the Malang City Regional Secretariat, M. Sailendra, when opening the Digital Marketing Certification #batch3 activity initiated by the Malang City Youth, Sports and Tourism Service (Disporapar) at the Santika Hotel, Malang City, Wednesday (30/10/2024).
This capacity building activity is an effort and action carried out efficiently, effectively and sustainably by the Malang City Government by providing guidance to creative economy actors, communities, and startups.
"The creative economy is a catalyst for new industries and also an accelerator in order to accelerate the economic growth of Malang City, which means that creative economy actors can provide creativity in their products so that they can increase economic growth in Malang City," added Sailendra.
The follow-up to this technical guidance is to provide free certification facilities. "With competency certification, not only does it provide the necessary knowledge and skills, but it also proves competence, increases credibility, prepares better career needs and increases income," he explained.
"The efforts made by the Malang City Government do not stop here, but will continue to be developed in order to create a better governance system, which is measured by the implementation of government, development and community tasks based on the principles of transparency, accountability, participation and democracy, in order to provide the best service for the people of Malang City," explained Sailendra.
With this technical guidance, it is hoped that creative economy actors in Malang City can be better known, able to be on par with other developed countries and go international. The technical guidance held for the next three days is attended by 50 creative economy actors who will later be curated into 30 participants. (say/yn)
